At Tribeca Music Studio, we offer top-quality music lessons for piano and voice. The teachers Giacomo Franci, pianist and Dori Levine, vocalist are passionate about music and are dedicated to helping you achieve your goals.

Piano Lessons


Beginners through advanced students, all ages. Giacomo's curriculum includes music theory, sight reading, ear training, harmony, improvisation, and technical mastery — from Bach to Broadway. Lessons begin with immediate hands-on keyboard work from the very first session.

Voice Lessons


Dori's Body, Breath, Voice method develops strong vocal technique and musicianship from day one. Areas of focus include breath support, range, intonation, ear training, performance skills, and improvisation. Lessons are available to adults and students ages 8 and up.

Flexible Scheduling

Piano lessons are available Monday through Saturday, 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Voice lessons are available Tuesday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Student Concerts

Twice a year, piano students are invited to perform in an in-studio concert for family and friends. The studio seats up to 30 guests and creates a real concert atmosphere.

Meet Your Instructors

Giacomo Franci — Piano

Giacomo holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Piano Performance from Italian conservatories. He has performed as soloist and conductor with orchestras across the US, Europe, China, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Hungary — including the Beijing Symphony Orchestra and the Czech National Symphony. He is the founder and Artistic Director of The New York Chamber Players, and has released world-premiere recordings of Aaron Copland's and Igor Stravinsky's complete piano works.


At Tribeca Music Studio, Giacomo teaches all levels — beginner through professional — with a curriculum spanning classical, jazz, New Age, and pop. His teaching draws directly from a career at the highest levels of concert performance.

Dori Levine — Voice

Dori has performed at Carnegie Hall, The Blue Note, Birdland, The Knitting Factory, and Steinway Hall, and at international festivals in Sweden, Finland, Italy, and England. She studied privately with legendary jazz educators Lennie Tristano and Jay Clayton, and brings more than 20 years of teaching experience to every lesson.


Dori's signature approach treats the voice as an instrument — developing breath support, range, ear training, and musicianship alongside repertoire and performance skills. She works with singers of all levels, from first-time students to those preparing for professional performance.

How do I get started with piano or voice lessons?

What are your lesson hours?

Piano lessons with Giacomo are available Monday through Saturday from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Voice lessons with Dori are available Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. We are not open for lessons on Sundays.

Do you teach beginners?

Absolutely. We welcome students at every level, from those who have never touched a piano or sung a note, all the way to advanced and pre-professional students. All ages are welcome for piano lessons, and voice lessons are available for students ages 8 and up.

How much do lessons cost, and do you offer packages?

Our rates are listed transparently on the Rates page. We offer 4-lesson prepaid packages at a discounted rate for students who commit to regular study. Gift packages are also available year-round.

Where is Tribeca Music Studio located?

We are located at 310 Greenwich Street in Tribeca, Lower Manhattan within easy walking distance for residents of Tribeca, the Financial District, Battery Park City, and nearby neighborhoods. We have been part of this community for over 30 years.

Do you offer online lessons?

Yes. Online piano lessons are available for students who cannot attend in person, including those based outside of Manhattan. We find that online piano lessons work particularly well because the student and instructor are each at their own keyboard. Contact us to discuss whether online lessons are the right fit for your goals.

We're Located in Lower Manhattan

Tribeca Music Studio has been part of this neighborhood for over 30 years. Conveniently located at 310 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10013 — within walking distance for residents of Tribeca, Battery Park City, FinancialDistrict, and surrounding neighborhoods.

Student Concerts

Twice a year (typically in January and July), Giacomo's piano students are invited to perform in an in-studio concert for family and friends. The studio is set up in concert style, seating up to 30 guests. It's a festive, community event that gives students a real performance experience in an encouraging environment.


Voice students perform in recitals organized by Dori on a rolling basis throughout the year.
