Master Class for Opera Singers
Teacher: Giacomo Franci
The conductor’s approach to the performing artist. I don’t neglect the main elements of vocal tecnique:breathing, projection, timbre.
The bigger emphasis is on the Music Score.
*Phrasing according to composer (you don’t sing Verdi or Wagner as Mozart or Haendel).
*Diction-Perfect diction in Italian, French and German Operas.
*Timbre-Some singers think that they have one timbre only and this is going to limit their repertoire.
For example you can sing well Mozart and maybe you could sing well Schoemberg but you lack the knowledge of timbre research.
